Introduction:

In this blog I will introduce myself and list my interests and other interesting facts about me and why I chose to do Games Art. I also show some of the 3D models that I am particularly proud of and why I am proud of them.

Interests:
  • 3D Modelling
  • Learning new Instruments (Can play / Still Learning Piano, Flute, Violin & Guitar)
  • Gaming
  • Crocheting
  • Collecting Winnie The Pooh merch
Why I chose Games Art:

I chose Games Art as I have a love for 3D Modelling and wanted to expand my skill set. I specifically
chose Games Art as I want to use my 3D skills to create models for games in the future. I have created quite a    few models in the past whilst I was in college and enjoyed creating them so wanted to continue to learn
about how to make hard surface models.

What are your aspirations:

My aspirations are to learn new skills in 3D and to use those skills to be able to make a game of my
own. I want to be able to get a job in the industry in the future creating assets for games.

An interesting fact about me:

I enjoy watching rally racing each month and I used to watch them race as a kid. I grew up watching rally
racing and used to watch other cars racing too at race tracks near me.

3D Model I am happy with:

This is a model of a space themed chess set which I had been working on for a while because a lot of the
pieces that are quite intricate. There are different pieces like Saturn, A Space Ship and The ISS. I spent
quite a bit of time to create the model and used several different tools to create it and used mash which I
didn't have much experience with and used it to create the checkered pattern on the board as I had
previously individually placed it however felt that there was a quicker and easier way to do it.
