2D - Week 9:

In this blog I will be showing the different drawings I did in class showing drawings aiming to study folds in clothing.

With these drawings we were looking at different folds and different fabrics where each falls differently. A loose t-shirt hangs and has different folds than a leather jacket would. Some folds I do struggle with as I struggle to show where they are in the correct place if there are a lot of folds in the same area. 


With a lot of the drawings I did of the folds I did struggle to get the look of it right as a lot of the time the drawings came out quite dark because I was trying to fit a lot of folds into a small space and continuously going over it to try and get it right but it makes the folds harder to see.


Throughout this task I leant how to draw different materials when they are in different poses which creates different types of folds as each type of fabric falls differently depending on their weight size and other factors such as how loose or how tight the fabric is. I did find drawing the clothes and folds to be quite challenging but it is something I need to continue too practice.
