2D - Week 8:
In this blog I will talk about the technique we were using in lesson and how it works. I will also talk about why its a useful technique.
Starting Image:
I chose an image that I had taken a few months ago to use for this task, I specifically chose this image as there was a difference in the foreground, midground and background and I could easily see which parts I needed to put in each colour. The technique we used was the lasso method which is used to colour an image, its a quick way to put colour in. Its useful for when adding blocks of colour to an image and using it to quickly make concept pieces.
Image Created:
To create the grayscale image, I chose 3 different colours that were equal distance from each other and chose colours from those that were lighter and darker from each of the original colours. This meant that when I had the initial colours in I could go in with the lighter or darker colours of each of the colours to be able to add the light and dark tones to the image.
